Traditionally it was only large companies that had
teams of call centre staff making outbound calls generating business.
At the other extreme, people might employ and individual and manage
them to make calls fulltime from the business's offices. For our
clients these arrangements simply did not work. So why do they get
better results with A&P and why is their confidence in telemarketing
restored?
Large telemarketing companies are inflexible
and expensive
Their overheads are much higher than ours and they have a lot of
people sitting in expensive buildings at expensive desks. And they
need to be kept busy
We use experienced telemarketers
Our telemarketers don't work in our offices. They work from home
and we keep in touch using internet and telephone technologies.
We closely monitor their results, keep them briefed and trained
up like any other larger operation.
This means they are cheaper and better than the
operatives in call centres. But the real difference is they all
really enjoy their work. And happy telemarketers get better results.
Some are employed and some are part-time contract.
But all have at least 5 years' experience of telemarketing. This
means you are not getting a student that is doing the job in between
travelling. Our telemarketers are experience, proven, mature and
well spoken. They will present a professional and credible face
to your business as well as providing detailed intelligent feedback
on all the calls.
We will really help you throughout the campaign
When you are a small customer to a large company, then you will
not get as much attention as when you are a large customer to small
company. We are a small company and we genuinely care about and
value your business.
The disadvantage of maybe using an in-house telemarketer
is that they are not account managers. They are call-makers. With
A&P you get great telemarketers and excellent support to make
sure your campaign is on track each week.
Results-based calling does not work
We do not charge per appointment. Clients often mistakenly believed
this was the best way to pay for appointment-setting. However, we
know our customers are focussed on return on investment, and so
are we. In other words, we are not here to keep you busy by sending
you to futile appointments. Cajoling prospects to take an appointment
just to get you off the phone is counter productive. We are looking
for people that need your services, they just don't know it yet.
Paying per appointment builds in an incentive for telemarketers
to quickly book any Tom, Dick or Harry into your diary. We would
rather make less appointments that result in no business signed.
Instead, we qualify prospects so that you will convert 50% into
new customers.
We know the importance of a good list
We have regularly told clients to suspend campaigns because they
list was not appropriate. If we find a large proportion of people
saying a clear "no" to your proposition we will suggest
you cut your losses. You will not thank us for persisting with a
futile campaign. Again, we know clients keep using us because we
keep getting results.
We will refine the message
We will work with you to keep changing the "script" in
order to get the best results. Our telemarketers feed back verbally
and in their reports the effectiveness of different approaches.
